HOW THE CIRCLE LORD WORKS
The CIRCLE LORD is a unique tool for sewing perfect circles exactly where you want them. The anodized aluminum crossbar lays across the back bed of the machine. Push the red lever forward to lock the crossbar firmly in place. Attached, at right angle to the crossbar, is the locking slide armplate . The slide arm is connected to the base plate by a swivel joint that adjusts the angle of the patterns. The base plate has a center post and a stepping pin for template control.
A Squircle, is a plastic square with holes to make circles. With the large squircle you can do concentric circles 1/32 inch apart. It makes circles up to 11 3/4 inch. To make a circle, place the stylus point into a hole and then move the sewing head.
The Stepping disk is used to make medallions, and rays. It also holds some templates in position. It has 16 holes around the perimeter, so that you can make circular patterns, such as a ring of stars, hearts.
RAPID POSITIONING
Rapid Positioning means that you can quickly and easily position the template, and lock it in place with a few simple actions. First, place the stylus point into the center pivot of the circle disk. Unlock both the crossbar clamp, and the slide clamp. Then move the sewing head, dragging, or pushing the whole apparatus until the needle point is at the exact center of the new circle. The center can be found by using the supplied Center Finder . Then lock both clamps, and place the stylus into the radius hole or groove, for the pattern required. The slide arm will move up, or down, and 14 inches, back and forth. Re-positioning can be done without unlocking the crossbar. Medallion patterns, rays and templates use the unique stepping disk to step through16 steps Examples shown on the Demo Quilt.
